Darren Lehane SC

Darren is Vice-Chair of the Council of the Bar of Ireland. He is President of the Irish Maritime Law Association. He is a member of the Board of the Charities Regulatory Authority and a non-executive director of the Galway Port Company. He is a member of the International Working Group on Limitation of Liability of the Comité Maritime International. Darren was called to the Bar in 2004 and became a Senior Counsel in 2020. He was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2015 and is a MCIArb. He practices in commercial and public law. He specialises in Shipping & Transport with an emphasis on shipping and commodities, international trade, energy, banking and insurance.
