About the Mission

The mission took place from the afternoon of Tuesday, 8th September to the evening of Thursday, 10th September 2026, with an exceptionally strong programme comprising eight dedicated events across three days.

Our hosts across Manhattan included BDO USA, Forward Global, Dechert LLP, and Fordham University School of Law, with speakers including:

• Anne Anderson, Former Irish Ambassador to the US

• Sven Stumbauer, Forward Global

• Several prominent NYC and Irish lawyers, alongside distinguished members of the judiciary.

This mission represents a collective effort to grow the entire Irish legal market, and success in New York is ultimately the shared benefit of all our leading firms. To achieve this, we need to work together as a jurisdiction, for our leading firms to 'don the green jersey' and collectively showcase the sheer depth and capability of the Irish legal profession on the world stage.

• The Hon. Mr. Justice David Barniville, President of the High Court of Ireland;
