Ireland for Law 2025 New York Mission
From 9–11 September 2025, Ireland for Law led a high-level delegation to New York City, promoting Ireland as a prime jurisdiction for legal services and international business. Over the course of three days, we hosted six engaging events across Manhattan, connecting with hundreds of business leaders and legal professionals.
Our delegation was led by Minister of State, Niall Collins TD, whose presence and involvement confirmed for our US audience how serious the Irish government takes our robust legal system and speaks to the strength of Ireland's democracy. Across the programme of events, the delegation shared Ireland’s position as a dynamic and trusted place to do business, particularly in the legal sphere, engaging directly with a wide US audience and fostering valuable transnational connections.
The Ireland for Law Missions set out to highlight Ireland’s position as a global leader in aviation leasing, a global tech hub, and a world leader in funds, insurance, pharma and life sciences. Ireland is now becoming a primary centre for the provision of legal advice and transactional services in these sectors. Ireland offers a robust and reliable legal system, underpinned by a strong commitment to modernisation and a competitive cost structure. These advantages make it an attractive choice for organisations seeking legal certainty, efficiency, and world-class expertise. Whether through Ireland’s advanced court system or its well-established alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, the country provides a business-friendly environment suited to both domestic and international contracts.
We extend our sincere thanks to our hosts, Cardozo School of Law, Clark Hill, Norton Rose Fulbright, Fordham School of Law, Bank of Ireland Hub NYC, and the Consulate General of Ireland, New York.
