Dermot Ryan

Dermot Ryan has served as Executive Director of Ireland for Law since October 2023. He oversees all of Ireland for Law’s executive functions including business missions and other events, communications, relationships with government and funders, and outreach to the Irish and international legal and wider business community.

Dermot is Chair of one of Ireland's leading Public Relations firms, Alice Public Relations, providing high-level strategy, stakeholder engagement, consultation and issues management services for their clients.

Dermot has 30 years’ experience in politics, communications and stakeholder engagement. In his work, he draws on his insights into international best-practice tactics, garnered during his six years’ living in Australia, where he served served as Chief of Staff at a leading Labor Union.
