Catherine Ardagh TD
Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration
Catherine Ardagh TD is Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, with responsibility for International Law, Law Reform and Youth Justice. She is a Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin South Central and previously served as Leader of Fianna Fáil in Seanad Éireann, following her election to the Seanad in 2016. Before entering national politics, she represented the Crumlin–Kimmage area on Dublin City Council.
A qualified solicitor and notary public, Minister Ardagh TD, holds an LL.B. from SOAS, University of London, an LL.M. from Trinity College Dublin, and completed the Barrister-at-Law degree at the Honourable Society of King’s Inns before transferring to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011. Prior to her appointment to Minister of State, she practised as a solicitor.
