Helen Naves

Helen Naves is the founding partner of HNaves Advogados, a boutique law firm with a practice focused on Brazil and U.S.-related corporate, banking, investment, and financial matters. Dually qualified in Brazil and New York State, she has over two decades of experience advising multinational financial institutions, corporations, investors, and leading law firms on banking regulation, cross-border investments, finance transactions, capital markets, and the structuring of investment and financial instruments.

Ms. Naves is Chair of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Section and Co-President of the Brazil Chapter of the Fordham Law Alumni. A committed advocate for diversity and inclusion, she has championed career development opportunities for female lawyers since 2009. She holds an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo.
